In 2011, Jason Lee graduated with honors from Jason Madison University with a degree in finance, focusing on financial management, investments, and banking. Jason fell in love with the beautiful Shenandoah Valley and never left. At Farmers and Merchants Bank, Jason worked with local organic farmers to help them scale up their operations by providing access to financing for nine years as the oversight of the credit standards and leading asset quality reviews to maintain a sound institution.

In 2020, Jason became the founder and C.O.O. of FreshWave Organics, the Harrisonburg-based, rapidly growing organic food company that produces and sells organic, non-GMO snacks and beverages. Today, Jason and FreshWave Organics continue to build meaningful relationships with local organic generational farmers through collaborations to meet regulatory requirements and scale up farming operations to ensure a continuous supply chain.

As an organic food lover, Jason leads FreshWave Organics, placing strong emphasis on sustainability and transparency, ensuring that every ingredient is ethically sourced and fully traceable. FreshWave Organics is committed to ethical sourcing and ingredient traceability for its high-quality, non-GMO snacks and beverages, while keeping prices low for consumers.
As the demand for healthier food options grows, FreshWave Organics, with Jason at the forefront, is poised to expand its market share in the competitive organic food industry.

Jason enjoys hiking in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley mountains, spending time with his wife and two sons, attending local sports events, and volunteering some of his spare time with local non-profits. You may also bump into Jason in a local gym working out or at a cafe chilling with fellow community members.
